Northern NJ Federal Safety & Health Council Members, Associates & Stakeholders:

Each year we remember those workers who lost their lives from workplace related incidents. That day is April 28th and we are asking you to commemorate those lives lost in a meaningful way at your workplace. Please do your part to remember those who gave their lives to make the workplace safer. Enclosed you will find information on Worker Memorial Day. For your convenience, the enclosures are both in English and Spanish – an explanation of what Worker Memorial Day symbolizes and a Poem to be read. Our goal is to remember those who have suffered and died on the job.

Worker Memorial Day has special significance to those who are dedicated to addressing occupational safety & health issues. Despite the difficulties and challenges we face in realizing the goal of reducing and eliminating workplace hazards, we must remain ever vigilant. Thank you for your support.
